The Melanoma Education Foundation is a 501(c ) (3) non-profit organization. Contributions are deductible from Federal income taxes to the maximum extent consistent with IRS regulations and individual taxpayer cicumstances.

Your financial support provides life-saving service to high school and middle school students. MEF has no fundraising salaries. There are several ways to contribute.

November 4, 2018 - TCS New York City Marathon

The Melanoma Education Foundation has enlisted charity runners in
the past 7 NYC Marathons and has a limited number of openings for the 2018 Marathon.

There are 3 way to gain entry to the 2018 marathon:

1. Qualify as an eiite runner in a previous marathon.

2. Win entry via the February 28, 2018 lottery drawing.

In 2017 17% of runners won entries to the marathon.
Lottery registration deadline for 2018 is February 15.

3. Apply to run for an approved NYRR charity partner
by committing to raise funds from your supporters.

Melanoma Education Foundation Charity Runner Terms

Fundraising minimum is $2500 (the lowest allowed by NYRR).

We pay the $295 NYRR registration fee for each runner.

A signed contract with $250 deposit is required.

Runner deposit and any payments are refundable up to $2500 total when matched by contributions.

Free fundraising page for each runner.
Fundraising may continue unti the day of the marathon.
